BRIBERY-ARREST, 08/31/024/23, 3600 block of Fairfax Drive. On August 31 at 10 am, a person who owns several properties in Arlington County with code violations attempted to bribe a county inspector. The inspector reported the incident to the police. Ibrahim Abdullah, 56, of Arlington, was charged with Bribery. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

BURGLARY, 09/01/005/49, 200 block of S. 20th Street. On August 31 at 11:50 pm, two men were seen breaking into a maintenance office in an apartment building. There is no suspect description.

LATE ROBBERY, 08/31/026/37, 4300 block of Columbia Pike. On August 28 at 4 pm, a woman was sitting at a bus stop. An unknown man pressed a hard object into her back and demanded her necklace. He reached over and unclasped it before running off. The suspect is described as a 45 year-old white Hispanic male, 6’2”, and 260 lbs. He was wearing dark clothing.

BURGLARY, 08/30/11, 2100 block of N. Pierce Street. Between 3 pm on August 28, and 11 pm on August 30, an unknown person entered an apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 08/29/11, 5700 block of N. 16th Street. On August 29 at 8:30 pm, a woman was walking when an unknown subject threw an egg at her from a passing vehicle. The egg struck her in the back. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored four-door sedan.

BURGLARY, 08/29/11, 1300 block of N. Veitch Street. Between noon on August 12, and noon on August 26, an unknown person entered an apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY MOB, 08/26/11, 4400 block of S. 31st Street. On August 26 at 11 pm, a group of unknown men assaulted two brothers with a stick and a metal pole. The suspects are described as white Hispanic males.

ROBBERY, 08/27/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On August 27 at midnight, an unknown man confronted a man inside an ATM alcove. The suspect implied a weapon and demanded the victim withdraw money from the ATM. The victim complied and the suspect fled. He is described as an African American male wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.

ATTEMPT SEXUAL ASSAULT, 08/27/11, 1800 block of N. Veitch Street. On August 26 at 11:50 pm, two women were walking when an unknown man ran up to them. He knocked one woman to the ground covering her head with his blue plaid shirt. The suspect pulled at her shirt and asked for sex. The second female ran and called police. The suspect is described as an African American male in his late 20’s and 5’10”. He was wearing a white t-shirt and carrying his other shirt.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 08/26/11, 1700 block of N. Quinn Street. On August 26 at 11:20 pm, a woman was walking when an unknown man ran up and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect was a man in his 30’s with a dark complexion, 5’10” with a thin build. He was wearing a blue or green plaid button up shirt. This suspect is similar in description to the above incident.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 08/27/11, 3300 block of Fairfax Drive. On August 27 at 2 am, two brothers were assaulted by the irate ex-boyfriend of a female friend. The suspect is known.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 08/27/11, 2100 block of S. Quebec St. On August 27 at 5 pm, a man assaulted his roommate over an argument about the television. Gualberto Flores, 54, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and battery. He was released on a summons.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 08/28/11, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. On August 28 at 7 pm, a man assaulted another man outside a convenience store. Mario Lewis, 52, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was released on his own recognizance.

ATTEMPT BURGLARY, 08/27/11, 200 block of N. Piedmont St. On August 27 at 3 am, a young woman heard a noise at her apartment window and looked outside. She saw an unknown man pushing up the screen to gain access to the window. She hit the window and the suspect fled. He was a white Hispanic male in his late 20’s, 5’5” and 170 lbs. He was wearing an orange t-shirt and a baseball cap.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 08/27/11, 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. Between 10:30 pm on August 26, and 10:30 am on August 27, an unknown subject put deep scratches on at least four vehicles in the same block. There is no suspect description.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 08/24/11, 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. On August 24 at 5:30 am, a woman stabbed a man in the back when he refused to give her money to buy narcotics. The two people were acquainted. Melissa Diaz Marty, 21, of Arlington, was charged with Malicious Wounding and Possession of Cocaine. She was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 08/26/11, 1000 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. On August 26 at 1:45 am, two intoxicated men ran around banging on cars waiting at a traffic light. When two owners got out of the vehicles, the men assaulted them. James Rogers, 27, of Arlington, and Joshua Christenson, 27, of Tampa, FL, were charged with Assault and Battery and Drunk in Public. They were each held on a $2,500 bond.

ATTEMPT BURGLARY, 08/25/11, 500 block of S. 15th Street. Between 10 pm on August 24, and 7:45 am on August 25, an unknown subject attempted to enter an apartment. There is no suspect description.

ATTEMPT ROBBERY, 08/22/11, 5000 block of N. Little Falls Road. On August 22 at 3 pm, two young men fled rather than pay for a cab ride. When the driver chased them, one demanded his phone and money. The suspects threw the phone and ran off without any currency. The suspects were both teenage African American men wearing white t-shirts and khaki shorts.

EXPOSURE-ARREST, 08/23/11, 2800 block of S. Glebe Road. On August 23 at 5 pm, police witnessed an intoxicated man expose himself. Jose Medrano, 42, of no fixed address, was charged with Indecent Exposure and Drunk in Public. He was held until sober.

BURGLARY-ARREST, 08/22/11, 900 block of S. Orme Street. On August 22 at 5 am, an elderly woman awoke to find a man inside her house, stealing money from her purse. Police found him after he fled the area. Ahmed Assad, 18, of Herndon, was charged with Burglary and Petit Larceny. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 08/23/11, 800 block of S. Monroe Street. On August 23 at 10:50 am, a man entered his home and found an unknown male inside. When the victim called police, the suspect threatened him with a baseball bat and fled. The suspect was an African American male in his late 40s, 6’2” and 250 lbs. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt, khaki shorts, white shoes and white baseball cap. The suspect fled the area in an older model blue or green BMW.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 08/20/11, 4800 block of King Street. On August 20 at 2 am, a man was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of a convenience store, when an unknown man confronted him and asked him for money. The victim got out of the car and argued with the suspect. The suspect then cut him on the shoulder with an unknown object. The wound was small and not life threatening. The suspect is described as an African American male, 5’8” with dreadlocks.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 08/20/11, 2300 block of N. 11th Street. On August 20 at 2:30 am, a man stated that he was assaulted by two unknown men while he was walking home. The suspect assaulted him and hit him on the elbow with a glass bottle. The suspects were both white Hispanic men in their mid-20s. One suspect was 5’5”, thin, brown curly hair and a goatee. He was wearing a multi-colored t-shirt and jean shorts. The second suspect was 6’, thin, black spiked hair, and wore a white t-shirt and brown shorts.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 08/20/11, 2400 block of S. Lowell Street. On August 20 at 9:30 pm, two women argued and one pulled out a knife and cut the other on the face. The victim had a small wound to her nose. The suspect is known.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 08/19/11, 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard. On August 18 at 6 pm, two women argued at their place of work, and one grabbed the other by the arm forcefully. Ashley Cauthen, 25, of Washington D.C., was charged with Assault and Battery. She was held on a $1,500 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 08/20/11, 1100 S. Hayes Street. On August 20 at 6 pm, a woman threw a drink at an employee of a coffee kiosk. Jennel Solomon, 27, of Washington D.C., was charged with Assault and Battery. She was released on a summons.

BURGLARY, 08/21/11, 2910 S. Glebe Rd. A known subject entered and stayed in an apartment between 11 am on August 9, and 11 am on August 21.

BANK ROBBERY, 08/16/11, 3000 block of Washington Boulevard. On August 16 at 2:10 pm, an unknown man entered a bank. He announced a robbery and demanded money. The suspect then fled with cash. He is described as a white male around 50 years old, 5’9” tall with a thin build. The suspect wore a light colored “driving” cap, a gray t-shirt, light colored pants and sunglasses.

ATTEMPT ROBBERY, 08/16/11, 2100 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On August 16 at 1 am, a woman was attempting to withdraw money from an ATM when a man wrapped his arm around her neck and demanded money, She broke free and canceled the transaction while yelling for help. Witnesses followed the suspct until police arrived. James Williams, 26, of no fixed address, was charged with Attempted Robbery and Grand Larceny (a previous warrant). He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 08/16/11, 2900 block of N. 23rd Street. On August 16 between 6 pm and 6:30 pm, an unknown subject walked into an unlocked screened-in porch and stole a laptop from a purse. There is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 08/16/11, 2100 block of N. Westmoreland Street. On August 16 between 12:30 am and 3 am, an unknown subject stole items from least four vehicles in the same block. There is no suspect description.

ABDUCTION-ARREST, 08/14/11, 500 block of N. Piedmont. On August 14 at 2:30 am, a man repeatedly tried speaking to a woman walking home by herself. She rebuffed him and he kept following her. He ran up behind her and pinned her to a car before knocking her to the ground. She screamed and a bystander chased the suspect until police arrived. Fidencio Gonzalez, 25, of Arlington, was charged with Abduction. He was held without bond.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 08/12/11, 3400 block of S. Utah Street. On August 12 at 9:20 am, an unknown man approached a female lifeguard from behind while she was unlocking the pool gate and touched her breasts. The suspect was a white male between 25 and 35 years of age, 5’10” with a medium, muscular build. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt, khaki knee length shorts, a dark blue baseball cap and large black sunglasses.

EXPOSURE, 08/12/11, 4200 block of N. Henderson Road. On August 12 at 7 am, a 17-year-old male was walking to the high school when and unknown man in a vehicle exposed himself to the juvenile. The suspect was driving a brown van and was described as a white male in his 40s, with a chubby face, a “buzz cut” and glasses.

BURGLARY, 08/13/11, 200 block of N. Edison Street. On August 13 between noon and 5:30 pm, an unknown subject broke a chain lock on a door to a residence. No items were stolen from the house.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 08/13/11, 800 block of N. Quincy Street. Between 7:30 pm on August 12, and 8 am on August 13, an unknown subject slashed tires on at least four vehicles in the same block. There is no suspect description.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 08/10/11, 300 block of N. Thomas Street. On August 10 at 11:45 pm, two unknown males on bicycles rode by a woman and shot her in the arm with a “BB” or pellet gun. The woman suffered minor injuries. The suspects were both African American men wearing athletic shorts and t-shirts.

ROBBERY, 08/10/11, 1000 block of S. Jefferson Street. On August 10 at 8:30 pm, an elderly woman was walking into an apartment building when an unknown male stole her purse off her shoulder. The suspect is described as an African American male in his 20s, 6’1” with a thin build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants. He left the area in a dark colored Jeep Grand Cherokee.

ROBBERY, 08/10/11, 1100 block of S. Emerson Street. On August 10 at 10 pm, two unknown men robbed a taxi cab driver of his wallet while threatening him with a tazer type device. The suspects were both African American men in their mid-20s. One was 5’5”with a heavy build, wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts. The second suspect was 5’11” with a medium build, wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and a black head covering.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 08/10/11, 700 block of N. Glebe Road. On August 10 at 5 am, a man entered a department store and stole cash from registers. The suspect is a white male wearing all dark clothing and a black baseball cap.

TAMPERING WITH AUTO (SERIES), 08/10/11, 6500 block of N. 28th Street. Between 9 pm on August 9, and 7 am on August 10, an unknown subject entered at least ten unlocked vehicles in the same area and stole a minor amount of change. There is no suspect description.

BANK ROBBERY, 08/09/11, 5300 block of Lee Highway. On August 9 at 2:10 pm, an unknown man entered a bank. He implied a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then fled with cash. He is described as a white male around 50 years old, 5’9” tall with a thin build. The suspect wore a light colored “driving” cap, a dark colored striped polo shirt and light colored pants.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 08/09/11, 4300 block of Columbia Pike. On August 9 at noon, an unknown subject grabbed a 19-year-old female lifeguard from behind. He grabbed her breasts and then fled. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 5’2” and 120s lbs. with black hair and an olive complexion.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 08/09/11, 1000 block of S. Jefferson Street. On August 9 at 6 am, an unknown man assaulted another man walking on the sidewalk. The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s, 6’ and 180 lbs. He was wearing a dark blue shirt and brown shorts.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 08/10/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On August 10 at 1:20 am, an intoxicated man assaulted security guard at a bar. Paul Salemme, 22, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $3,000 bond.

BURGLARY, 08/08/11, 1300 block of S. Fair Street. Between 10:30 am on August 6 and 5 pm on August 7, an unknown subject stole items from an unlocked apartment. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 08/09/11, 1100 block of S. Monroe Street. On August 8 between 9 pm and 11 pm, an unknown subject entered an unlocked house and stole various items. There is no suspect description.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 08/08/11, 800 block of N. Glebe Road. On August 7 at 9 pm, three unknown African American subjects entered a construction site and stole copper wire.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 08/04/11, 3800 block of Four Mile Run Drive. On August 4 at 12:30 am, a taxi cab driver was dropping off two unknown males when they assaulted him and tried to take his GPS. The suspects were both African American males. One suspect was in his early 20s, 6’2”, 190 lbs and wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts and carrying a black backpack. The second suspect was around 18 years old, 5’2”, 140 lbs and wearing a white t-shirt and carrying a black backpack.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 08/04/11, 200 block N. Thomas Street. On August 4 at 12:50 am, a woman cut another woman on the face with a knife. Nicole Allen-Fairfax, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with Malicious Wounding. She was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 08/05/11, 1100 block Wilson Boulevard. On August 2 at 1 pm, a restaurant manager assaulted an employee with a knife. Youssef Elkhayir, 41, of Falls Church, was charged with Malicious Wounding and held without bond.

BANK ROBBERY, 08/04/11, 5500 block Lee Highway. On August 4 at 2:15 pm, an unknown man entered a bank. He announced a robbery and demanded money. The suspect then fled with cash. He is described as a white male with facial hair, in his late 50s, 6’ tall with a medium build. The suspect wore a light colored baseball cap, neon green shirt and light colored pants. This man appears to be the same suspect who robbed three banks in Arlington this summer.

ROBBERY, 08/07/11, 1900 block of N. George Mason Drive. On August 7 at 1:15 am, a man was walking home from work when two unknown males approached him. The suspects assaulted him a brandished a knife. They stole cash and fled. Both suspects were teenage African American males. One was 6’2” with a skinny build wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. The other suspect was 5’8” with a thin build and wore a gray t-shirt and jeans.

ROBBERY-ARREST, 08/07/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On August 7 at 6:50 pm, a woman was walking with her cell phone in her hand. A 17 year-old male ran by and forcibly removed it. Several witnesses chased the suspect and police apprehended him. The suspect will be charged.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 08/04/11, 1300 block of S. Highland Street. On August 4 at 4:20 pm, a 16 year-old female was walking when an unknown male passed her. He turned around to walk the other way and grabbed her breasts. The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s, 5’7” and 180s lbs. with black hair. He was wearing a black polo shirt, dark khaki shorts, white and gray sneakers and black reflective sunglasses.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 08/04/11, 1500 block of S. Fern Street. On August 4 at 3 pm, a woman threw a piece of fruit at a convenience store clerk, striking him in the face. The suspect is an African American female, 5’4” and 130 lbs. She was wearing a blue sweatshirt and khaki pants.

BURGLARY, 08/05/11, 3000 block of Washington Boulevard. On August 5 between noon and 12:20 pm, an unknown subject stole a laptop computer from an unlocked apartment. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 08/06/11, 900 block of Patrick Henry Drive. Between 7 am on July 30, and 4:15 pm on August 6, an unknown person forcibly entered a house and stole numerous items. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 08/05/11, 5400 block of N. Carlin Springs Road. Between 6 pm on August 4, and 11 am on August 5, an unknown subject broke into a snack bar and stole cash. There is no suspect description.

BANK ROBBERY, 08/03/11, 3100 block of Washington Boulevard. On August 3 at 11 am, an unknown man entered a bank. He implied a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then fled with cash. He is described as a white male with facial hair, in his late 50s, 6’ tall with a medium build. The suspect wore a white short-sleeve polo shirt with horizontal stripes, light colored pants and a dark colored baseball cap. This man appears to be the same suspect who robbed two BB&T; Banks in Arlington during June 2011.

ATTEMPT ROBBERY-ARREST, 08/03/11, 1700 block of N. Quebec Street. On August 3 at 10 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. One subject fled from the car and a helicopter was utilized to try to locate him. Three suspects were detained and charged. Lamar Herbert, 23, of no fixed address, was charged with Attempted Robbery and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Michael Lewis, 23, of Mattapan, MA, was charged with Attempted Robbery and was wanted out of another jurisdiction. Emanuel Gebreyesus, 23, of Dumfries, was charged with Attempted Robbery. All three suspects were held without bond.

BURGLARY, 08/02/11, 1500 block of Colonial Terrace. On August 2 between noon and 4 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole numerous items. There is no suspect description.

ATTEMPT BURGLARY, 08/02/11, 1700 block of N. Queen Street. Between 2 pm on August 1, and 8 am on August 2, an unknown person attempted to gain access to secure areas in an apartment building and damaged the doors. There are no known suspects.

ATTEMPT BURGLARY, 08/02/11, 1700 block of N. Quinn Street. On August 2 at 3:15 pm, a man attempted to enter an apartment by removing the A/C unit from a window. The resident confronted the suspect and the suspect fled.

ROBBERY, 08/01/11, 1100 block of Arlington Boulevard. On August 1 at 1:50 am, numerous men were in an apartment conducting a poker tournament. Two unknown men entered the apartment, displayed a gun and demanded money and the victim’s wallets. One suspect is described as an African American male in his mid-20s, 6’2” and skinny. He wore a red bandana over his face and a red Washington national baseball cap. The second suspect was an African American male, 5’8”, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana.

ROBBERY, 08/02/11, 4800 block of Columbia Pike. On August 2 at 12:30 am, an intoxicated man stated that two unknown men pulled him from his car, assaulted him and stole his wallet and phone. One suspect is described as an African American male between 30 and 40 years old. The second suspect was a white male between 30 and 40 years old.

BANK ROBBERY, 07/29/11, 900 block of N. Stuart Street. On July 29 at 10 am, an unknown male demanded money at a bank. He fled after receiving cash. The suspect is described as an African American male in his late 40s, 5’6” with a medium build. He wore a white short-sleeve polo shirt, light colored pants, a white baseball cap and dark shoes. The suspect also had a light colored towel draped over his shoulder.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 07/29/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 19, a man threw a liquid on two bank employees. He was seen on July 29 and apprehended by police. Rodolfo Caguay, 33, of Washington D.C., was charged with Malicious Wounding by Caustic Substance. He was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 07/30/11, 4200 block of Four Mile Run Drive. On July 30 at 2:30 am, a subject hit a man in the back of the head with a bottle, possibly to prevent him from striking his girlfriend. All subjects located at the incident were intoxicated.

ASSAULT BY MOB, 07/31/11, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. On July 31 at 12:30 am, several men assaulted an intoxicated male outside of a restaurant/bar. The suspects are unknown.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 07/31/11, 1300 block of N. Utah Street. On July 31 at 9:50 pm, a 16 year-old female was walking when an unknown man approached her from behind. He hugged her from behind and touched her breasts. When she screamed, he ran from the area. The suspect is described as a 5’7” male wearing a t-shirt.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/29/11, 2300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. On July 29 at 3 am, a woman driving a vehicle and three unknown males in the middle of the street had a verbal disagreement. One male threw a beer bottle at the car and it bounced inside, striking the female. The suspect that threw the bottle was a white male.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/30/11, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. On July 30 at 2:30 pm, a woman attempted to steal drinks from a store and was confronted by an employee. The suspect threw a soda, striking the victim. The suspect is described as an African American female wearing a yellow shirt with flowers on it and white pants.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/31/11, 1800 block of N. Moore Street. On July 31 at 6:40 am, an unknown man refused to pay his cab fare and assaulted the cab driver. The suspect is described as an African American male, 5’7” and 160 lbs wearing all black clothing and Timberland boots. He was also carrying a green backpack.

BURGLARY, 07/31/11, 3100 block of N. 1stRoad. Between 2 am on July 29, and 5 pm on July 31, an unknown person stole various items from a residence. There is no suspect description.

ATTEMPT BURGLARY, 07/29/11, 1200 block of S. Eads Street. On July 29 between 9:15 am and 6:30 pm, an unknown person attempted to enter and apartment and damaged a lock on the door. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 07/30/11, 1600 block of N. Colonial Terrace. On July 30 at 8 am, two vehicles in the same parking garage were found missing all of their tires. There are no known suspects.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 07/31/11, 1000 block of N. Daniel Street. Between 1 pm on July 30, and 10 am on July 31, an unknown person damaged two vehicles in the same block.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 07/29/11, 4300 block of Columbia Pike. On July 28 at 10:30 pm, a man stabbed an acquaintance in the leg with a knife when they disagreed over money. The suspect is known.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 07/25/11, 2000 Block of Crystal Drive. On July 25 between 9:45 am and 1:45 pm, an unknown person stole the tires off two vehicles in the same underground parking garage. There are no known suspects.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/22/11, 1200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 22 at 7 pm, a man was riding his bicycle when a car drove up beside him. The car ran him off the road and a passenger in the backseat reached out and pushed the victim over. The vehicle was a black sedan.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/24/11, 800 block of S. Fredericks Street. On July 24 at 12:15 am, a woman was walking when two unknown men approached her. One man slapped her and the other pushed her to the ground. Both suspects were white Hispanic males in their 30s. One suspect was 6’, and wore a green or gray shirt and jean shorts. The other suspect was 5’8”, and wore a blue shirt and jean shorts.

EXPOSURE, 07/20/11, 2700 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 20 at 2:30 am, a woman was walking when an unknown male ran past her, exposing himself. The suspect is described as white male in his late teens with brown hair and dark rimmed glasses. He was wearing a dark colored t-shirt, jeans, and black Converse style shoes.

BURGLARY, 07/22/11, 3500 block of S. Ball Street. Between 2 pm on July 21, and 7 pm on July 22, an unknown subject broke into an apartment and stole cash. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY, 07/22/11, 5100 block of S. 8thRoad. On July 22 between 2 pm and 6:30 pm, an unknown person entered an apartment and stole electronic. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 07/23/11, 6000 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 23 at 2:45 am, numerous subjects entered a neighborhood pool and ate food belonging to the company.

BURGLARY, 07/23/11, 3900 block of S. 7thStreet. Between 1 pm on July 17 and 2:30 pm on July 23, an unknown person entered a house through a window, but did not steal any items. There are no known suspects.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 07/21/11, 3900 block of N. Pershing Drive. On July 21 at 3:15 pm, police responded to a noise complaint. One of three suspects was uncooperative and disorderly. He assaulted two police officers and a tazer was deployed. Rigoberto Santos Alvarez, 40, of Washington D.C., was charged with two counts of Assault and Battery on Law Enforcement. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/21/11, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. On July 21 at 10:45 pm, an unknown woman assaulted another female at a fast food restaurant. The suspect is described as a white female with brown hair and a large build wearing a blue shirt, light blue low cut pants and white and blue shoes.

BURGLARY (SERIES), 07/21/11, 1400 block of S. Eads Street. On July 21 between 8:30 am and 5:15 pm, an unknown subject broke into two apartments in the same building and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 07/20/11, 700 block of N. Glebe Road. On July 20 bewteen 5 am and 6:30 am, an unknown subject hid inside a department store and stole money from several cash registers. The suspect was wearing dark clothing.

ATTEMPT MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 07/20/11, 900 block of N. Stafford Street. On July 20 at 7 am, two men walked out of a restaurant without paying for their bill. When confronted by the manager, one suspect brandished a knife and attempted to wound the manager. Police located that suspect. Dwight Wright Jr., 32, of Washington D.C., was charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding and Petit Larceny. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/20/11, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On July 20 at 1:45 pm, three subjects were involved in stealing items from a store at the mall. When stopped by security, a female suspect assaulted a security guard. Raheen Simmons, 30, and Shawntaya Eley, 25, both of Brooklyn, NY, were charged with grand Larceny. Lanequa Bostic, 26, of Brooklyn, NY, was charged with Grand Larceny and Assault and Battery. All three were held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/21/11, 500 block of S. 23rd Street. On July 21 at 2 am, a man assaulted another man in a bar. Jared St. Clair, 28, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $3,500 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/20/11, 2600 block of S. Jefferson Davis Highway. On July 20 at 2:10 pm, a man and women argued at a fast food restaurant. She threw a drink at him and brandished a small knife before leaving the area in a tan Nissan. The suspect is an African American woman in her 30’s, 5’5”, 180 lbs. She was wearing a white uniform shirt, blue uniform pants and a hat that displayed a badge.

EXPOSURE-ARREST, 07/20/11, 1200 block of N. Fillmore Street. On July 20 at 3 pm, a teenage male approached a woman he did not know and kissed her. When she pulled away, he exposed himself. A short time later, the same subject approached another woman and grabbed her shoulder. Police located the 13-year old suspect and he was released into his parents’ custody.

BURGLARY, 07/20/11, 800 block of S. Quincy Street. On July 20 between 7:30 am and 7 pm, an unknown subject broke into an apartment and stole jewelry. There are no known suspects.

ROBBERY, 07/19/11, 1700 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 19 at 4:30 pm, a woman was walking when an unknown man rode past her on a bicycle. He pulled her purse from her shoulder and continued. The suspect is described as an African American male with long dreadlocks wearing a purple v-neck shirt and jeans.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 07/19/11, 2800 block of S. Randolph Street. On July 19 at 12:20 am, an intoxicated and disorderly man assaulted two police officers who were removing him from a bar at the manager’s request. Glen Hochkeppel, 43, of Ashburn, was charged with two counts of Assault and battery on Law Enforcement, Drunk in Public, Trespassing and Resisting Arrest. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/19/11, 3700 block of Columbia Pike. On July 19 at 11:30 pm, a man assaulted another man. Carlos Enrique, 26, of Arlington was charged with Assault and battery. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/19/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 19 at 3:30 pm, a man threw liquid at two female bank employees while they were assisting a customer with the ATM. The women were not seriously injured. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male in his 20’s with long curly hair in a ponytail, 5’5”. He was wearing a blue and white striped shirt, black pants and carried a red backpack.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/19/11, 1100 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 19 at 2:30 am, an intoxicated man stated that a homeless man assaulted him. The victim described the suspect as an African American male in his 40’s, wearing a white shirt, white pants and a black tie.

BURGLARY, 07/18/11, 1200 block of S. Eads Street. On July 18 between noon and 3 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

ROBBERY, 07/17/11, 4200 block of N. Pershing Drive. On July 17 at 6 am, an intoxicated man was taken to the hospital with injuries he stated occurred during a robbery. The victim said that two unknown men assaulted him and stole his phone and cash. There is no suspect description.

ROBBERY, 07/18/11, 4300 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 17 at 11:30 pm, a restaurant manager was closing up the office and two unknown men gained access to the office. One displayed a handgun and demanded money. Once the suspects received cash, they fled. The only description of the suspects is that they were men wearing all dark clothing with ski masks covering their faces.

ABDUCTION WITH INTENT TO DEFILE-ARREST, 07/16/11, 4600 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. On July 16 at 3 am, a woman was walking home when an intoxicated man knocked her to the ground and pulled at her clothing. The victim struggled and yelled for help and two witnesses assisted her. The suspect was located by police. Ervin Nimatus-Vasquez, 29, of no fixed address, was charged with Abduction with the Intent to Defile. He was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 07/17/11, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 17 at 2 am, an intoxicated man was punched at a bar by an unknown subject and transported to the hospital.

BURGLARY, 07/15/11, 1700 block of N. Quinn Street. On July 15 between 8:45 am and 6:30 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 07/17/11, 800 block of Army Navy Drive. On July 17 between 3:30 pm and 4 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles in a mall parking garage. Clothing was stolen from both vehicles. There are no known suspects.

BRANDISHING-ARREST, 07/15/11, 4800 block of S. 28th Street. On July 15 at 12:10 am, two male roommates argued and one brandished a loaded weapon at the other. Jared Broach, 26, of Arlington, was charged with Brandishing a Weapon. He was released on his own recognizance.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/14/11, 1100 block of Arlington Boulevard. On July 14 at 2 pm, an intoxicated man spit on another man. David Mulford, 25, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held until sober.

BURGLARY, 07/14/11, 4300 block of N. Carlin Springs Road. On July 14 between 8 am and 6 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole laptop computers. There are no known suspects.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 07/14/11, 4300 block of Columbia Pike. On July 14 between 8:45 am and 10:30 am, an unknown subject entered an apartment and let the resident’s dog out. No items were taken and there is no suspect description.

CARJACKING, 07/13/10, 1100 block of S. 18th Street. On July 13 at 10:30 pm, a woman driving with a female passenger pulled into a residential garage. When they exited the vehicle, two unknown men approached displaying handguns. The suspects stole their purses and drove off in the vehicle. The suspects are described as African American men in their late teens to early 20’s. They were wearing dark clothing and masks covering their faces.

ROBBERY, 07/14/10, 800 block of S. Florida Street. On July 13 at 11 pm, a man was sitting in a park playing a game on his cell phone when two suspects assaulted him and stole his phone. The suspects are both African American males.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/13/10, 800 block of N. Randolph Street. On July 13 at 1:15 pm, a bus driver assaulted two women after one of the women threw a soda at him. Joseph Milliner, 40, of Temple Hills, MD, was charged with two counts of Assault and Battery. He was released on his own recognizance.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING-ARREST, 07/12/11, 1800 block of N. Lynn Street. On July 12 at 5 pm, a man assaulted another man regarding an argument over a woman. John Hogen, 33, of Arlington, was charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held without bond.

GRAND LARCENY, 07/12/11, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. On July 12 at 2:30 pm, several people created a distraction at a store while a third person snuck behind a counter and stole money from the business. The suspect that stole the money was a white Hispanic male in his 30s, 5’8” with a medium build wearing a zippered leather jacket, jeans and white shoes.

CARJACKING, 07/09/11, 400 block of S. 12th Street. On July 9 at 1 am, a couple was sitting in a parked vehicle when two unknown men approached the car. The suspects opened the doors and demanded the victims exit. One suspect displayed a handgun and valuables were stolen from the victims. The suspects then drove off in the victim’s car. The car was later recovered in Maryland. The suspects were both African American men approximately 20 years old. One suspect was 5’9”, 140 lbs and wore a grey hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect was 5’5”, 140 lbs, and wore a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 07/08/11, 4200 block of N. 2nd Road. On July 8 at 6 pm, a man was seen stealing a bicycle. During the investigation, the suspect assaulted a police officer in front of the suspect’s 11-year-old son. Manuel Antonio Alvarado, 28, of Washington D.C., was charged with Assault and Battery on Law Enforcement, Petit Larceny and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 07/10/11, 600 block of N. Glebe Road. On July 10 at 1:15 am, an unknown man cornered a woman at a bar and lifted her skirt, touching her underwear. The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair in his 20s, 6’ and 180 lbs. He was wearing a blue polo shirt and jeans.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/09/11, 5500 block of S. 8th Road. On July 9 at 3:30 am, a woman tried to separate a couple fighting, and the male half broke her finger. Carlos Ernesto Cifuentes, 30, of Herndon, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $4,000 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/10/11, 6200 block of N. 18th Road. On July 10 at 3:20 am, a man assaulted his roommate. Jonathan Snowling, 33, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was released on a summons.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/10/11, 1800 block of N. Quinn Street. On July 10 at 11 am, a man assaulted a home health care worker.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 07/09/11, 1000 block of N. Fillmore Street. On July 9 at 1:20 am, an unknown subject entered a liquor store and stole alcohol. The alarm was set off and police responded but did not locate a suspect.

ROBBERY, 07/06/11, 900 block of S. George Mason Drive. On July 6 at 2:30 pm, an intoxicated man claimed that two unknown subjects stole money from him.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO-ARREST, 07/07/11, 3800 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. On July 7 at 2:50 pm, two men stole a dirt bike from a business. Police apprehended both suspects. Reginald Jacobs, 25, of Arlington, and Raymond Young, 21, of Arlington were both charged with Grand Larceny of an Automobile. Young was held on a $500 bond and Jacobs was held on a $1,500 bond.

BURGLARY, 07/06/11, 500 block of S. Courthouse Road. Between 8 am on July 4 and 8 pm on July 5, a subject entered an apartment and stole a computer and money.

PEEPING TOM, 07/07/11, 200 block of N. Wayne Street. On July 6 at 11:30 pm, officers observed a man looking into occupied apartments. Selvin Perez-Lopez, 30, of Arlington, was charged with two counts of Peeping into an Occupied Dwelling.

LARCENY (SERIES), 07/06/11, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. On July 6 between 2 pm and 3 pm, an unknown subject stole items from at least two lockers at a gym. There is no suspect description.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 07/05/11, 2800 block of S. Columbus Street. On July 5 at 10 am, a woman was walking when an unknown man walked up to her and grabbed her breast. The suspect then ran from the area. He is described as a white male in his mid-20s, 5’6” and 165 lbs with brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing a white shirt, navy shorts, white shoes and a white baseball cap.

ROBBERY, 07/03/11, 900 block of Army Navy Drive. On July 3 at 4 pm, a woman was walking down an alley when a dark colored sedan pulled up beside her. A man exited the car and stole cash from the victim while assaulting her. The suspect then fled in the car, which was being drive by a second subject. The suspect is described as an African American male in his 20s, 5’9” and 160 lbs. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.

ROBBERY, 07/04/11, 900 block of N. Taylor Street. On July 4 at 4 pm, three teenage African American males walked into a phone repair store. One subject implied he had a weapon and then subjects stole a phone. They then fled the store.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 07/04/11, 2700 block of S. Nelson Street. On July 4 at 10 pm, a woman interrupted a man breaking into a U-Haul truck. He struck her in the head with a hammer and fled. The suspect is described as an African American male in his 40s. He was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

UNLAWFUL WOUNDING-ARREST, 07/04/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 4 at 4 pm, a man assaulted a movie theater employee when the employee would not allow him to bring food into a movie. Police located the suspect. Franklin Parker, 55, of no fixed address, was charged with Unlawful Wounding. He was held without bond.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 07/02/11, 1300 block of N. Veitch Street. On July 2 at 12:30 am, a woman was walking while talking on her cell phone. An unknown male approached her from behind and put his hand up her skirt. The man then ran down the street. He is described as a white Hispanic male in his mid-30s, 5’2” and 150 lbs. He was wearing a white dress shirt and black pants.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY-ARREST, 07/02/11, 3200 block of N. 10th Street. On July 2 at 3 am, police responded to an alarm at a car dealership. Two suspects were seen on the property and police apprehended one. The 16 year-old male was taken to juvenile detention and charges are pending.

GRAND LARCENY-ARREST, 07/04/11, 1600 block of N. Queen Street. On July 4 at 5 am, a witness saw two men tampering with a moped suspected of being stolen. Police located both suspects. John Sanders, 49, of Washington D.C., was charged with Grand Larceny, Larceny with Intent to Sell and Possession of Burglarious Tools. He was held on a $4,000 bond. Aleksander Jovcic, 21, of Washington D.C., was charged with Grand Larceny and released on his own recognizance.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 07/01/11, 800 block of Army Navy Drive. On July 1 between 7 pm and 7:45 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles in a mall parking garage. Several items were stolen. There are no known suspects.
