ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/31/2003, , 1500 blk of S. George Mason Dr., Sometime between 2100hrs on 03/30/03 and 0830hrs on 03/31/03, unknown subject(s) tampered with a door lock. The subject(s) apparently did not gain entry.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 3/31/2003, 1100 blk of S. Hayes St., Sometime between 1830hrs on 03/30/03 and 1000hrs on 03/31/03, unknown subject(s) forcibly opened a locked cabinet at a retail kiosk and removed a metal cash box.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/31/2003, 900 blk of N. Madison St., Sometime between 0700 and 1853hrs, unknown subject(s) broke a window next to a locked door. The subject(s) apparently did not gain entry.

ARMED ROBBERY 3/31/2003, 4600 blk of S. Four Mile Run, At approximately 1828hrs, the victims, both 38yo males, were approached by three unknown male subjects wearing masks and displaying knives. One of the subjects demanded money. Victim #1 began to struggle with two of the subjects while victim #2 ran toward a nearby building with the third subject in pursuit. All three subjects eventually fled the scene. Suspect #1 is described as a BM, late teens, approx. 5’8”, 170lbs, wearing blue jeans, tan boots, black jacket and black hat. Suspect #2 is described as a BM, late teens-early 20s, approx. 5’8”, 170lbs, wearing gloves, blue jeans, black jacket, tan boots, black ski mask. Suspect #3 is described as a BM, late teens-early 20s, approx. 5’8”, 170lbs, wearing blue jeans, black jacket, tan boots, black ski mask.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 3/28/2003, 5200 blk of N. Lee Hwy., At approximately 2205hrs, officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arriving, the officers observed a male subject throwing tires out of a locked enclosure to a waiting vehicle. The officers approached and arrested David Alexander Rosa-Garcia, 23yo, of the 3500 blk of Leesburg Ct. in Alexandria. Rosa-Garcia was charged with burglary and grand larceny and released on bond.

ROBBERY 3/30/2003, 1200 blk of S. Scott St., At approximately 0052hrs, the victim, a 26yo female, was in an elevator when an unknown male subject wearing a mask entered the elevator. The subject demanded the victim's money and then went through the contents of the victim's pocketbook. The subject exited the elevator after taking an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect is described as a BM, approx. 5'5"-5'7", 140-150lbs, short "corn-row" style hair, wearing a brown jacket, off-white shirt and blue jeans.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/25/2003, 500 block of S. Garfield St., At approximately 1510hrs, the victim, a 43yo female, arrived home and discovered a screen missing from the side window of her residence. The victim also noticed an unfamiliar jacket outside the window. The victim immediately exited the house and contacted the police. Upon their arrival, police officers arrested a subject trying to exit the residence. James Michael Goodmiller, 32, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with burglary, petit larceny and possession of burglarious tools.

ROBBERY 3/25/2003, 4700 block of N. 20th St., At 1910hrs, the victim, a 17yo male, was walking toward Lee Hwy. when he was approached by three unknown subjects. After asking for the time, the subjects grabbed the victim and removed an undetermined amount of cash and a cell phone from his pocket and a silver bracelet from his wrist. The subjects assaulted the victim and then fled the scene on foot. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 18-20yo, 6’0”-6’1”, 140-160lbs, wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black mask. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 18-20yo, 5’8”-5’9”, 120-140lbs, wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and a black mask. Subject #3 was described as a WHM, 18-20yo, 6’0”-6’2”, 160-180lbs, curly hair, medium complexion, wearing a white shirt and a white mask.

ARMED ROBBERY 3/25/2003, 2000 block of S. Grant St., At 2050hrs, the victims, a 28yo female and a 25yo male, were walking when an unknown subject approached them, produced a handgun and demanded their money. The victims complied, and the subject fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a BM, 6’2”, 200lbs, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with thin white stripes on the sleeves and dark jeans.

ROBBERY 3/23/2003, 4700 blk of Columbia Pike, Sometime between 1340 and 1530hrs on 03/22/03, the victim, a 40yo female, was held down in her vehicle by two unknown male subjects. The subjects took the victim's wallet and fled the scene. No description of the suspects is available.

CARJACKING/ROBBERY 3/22/2003, 1600 blk of S. 28th St., At approximately 1901hrs, the victims, a 48yo female and a 45yo female, were getting into a vehicle when they were approached by two unknown male subjects. Subject #1 approached the driver, produced a firearm and demanded the vehicle and a purse. Subject #2 approached the passenger, produced a firearm and demanded money. Both victims exited the vehicle; the subjects then entered the vehicle and drove away from the scene. Both suspects are described as WMs, Hispanic, approx. 20-25yo, brown/black, tall, skinny, wearing dark clothing.

ROBBERY 3/22/2003, 4000 blk of S. Four Mile Run Dr., At approximately 1930hrs on 03/21/03, the victim, a 22yo male, was approached by two unknown male subjects. Subject #1 grabbed the victim around the neck, produced a knife and demanded money. Subject #2 then went through the victim's pockets. Both subjects fled the scene after removing an undetermined amount of money. Both suspects are described as BMs, late teens, approx. 6', wearing black knit hats.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/21/2003, 3600 blk of S. 2nd St., Sometime between 0810hrs and 1520hrs, unknown subject(s) entered a house and removed a computer and phone. There were no signs of forced entry.

ARMED ROBBERY/MALICIOUS WOUNDING 3/21/2003, 3700 blk of Columbia Pike, At approximately 2000hrs, three unknown male subjects entered a retail establishment and assaulted two clerks, a 53yo female and a 40yo male. Two of the subjects produced knives and threatened the victims, ordering them to keep quiet. The third subject grabbed cash and jewelry belonging to the store. All three subjects then fled the premises, got into a vehicle and drove away westbound on Columbia Pike. Suspect #1 is described as a WM, Hispanic, approx. 5', 150lbs, brown/brown, wearing a red & white striped shirt and faded jeans. Suspect #2 is described as a WM, Hispanic, approx. 5'6", 140lbs, brown/brown, wearing a pale shirt, red bandana and faded jeans. Suspect #3 is described as a WM, Hispanic, approx. 5'6", 140lbs, brown/brown, long hair, wearing light-colored clothes. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored 4D Toyota Camry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/17/2003, 4200 N. Washington Blvd., Sometime between 1030hrs and 2350hrs on 03/17/03, an unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole a bicycle. There were no signs of forced entry.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 3/16/2003, 4600 S. Four Mile Run Dr., At 2230hrs, the victim, a 28yo male, was walking on a bike trail when he was confronted by two unknown male subjects. The subjects demanded money, but the victim refused. The subjects then assaulted the victim. The victim managed to escape before anything was stolen.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 3/16/2003, 2800 Crystal Dr., At 0224hrs, an unknown subject was seen breaking into a store through a front window. The subject left the store with a cash register containing an undetermined amount of cash. The subject then fled the scene northbound on Jefferson Davis Hwy. driving a copper colored Saab 900. The subject was described as a BM, 6'1", thin build wearing a black hat with white lettering, black pants and a black jacket.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/16/2003, 4300 Old Dominion Dr., Sometime between 0645hrs and 1145hrs on 03/15/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an apartment and stole various pieces of jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 3/16/2003, 4800 Columbia Pike, At 2259hrs, the victim, a 29yo male, was involved in a confrontation with an unknown subject. The subject then produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm. The victim's friends then restrained the subject until police arrived. Mr. Noorallah Kasir, 33, of the 3800 block of Lyndhurst Dr., in Fairfax, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.

ROBBERY 3/16/2003, 4300 N. Pershing Dr., At 1400hrs, the victim, a 17yo male, was riding a bicycle when he was approached by two subjects. The subjects demanded money, but the victim did not have any. The subjects then assaulted the victim and took his bicycle. Later that day, the victim observed police officers speaking with one of his assailants. The victim approached the officers and advised them of the incident. After further investigation, the officers arrested Juan Carlos Garcia, 19, of the 6100 block of Arlington Blvd., in Falls Church. Garcia was charged with robbery. Subject #2 was described as a WHM, 5'5", 140lbs wearing a white striped shirt and blue jeans.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 3/15/2003, 3100 Clarendon Blvd., At 2100hrs, the victim, a 25yo male, was involved in a fight at a bar. During the fight, the victim was stabbed in the back. The subject was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victim did not provide a description of the subject who stabbed him.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 3/14/2003, 2700 S. Four Mile Run Dr., At 2330hrs, the victim, an 18yo male, was involved in a confrontation with a group of subjects at a gas station. During the confrontation, one of the subjects shot the victim in the shoulder. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The subjects then drove away in a brown four-door vehicle. The victim did not provide a description of the subjects.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 3/12/2003, 2800 blk N. Washington Blvd., At approx. 0258hrs, an officer responded to an alarm call at a service station and discovered that an unknown subject(s) had entered the cashier kiosk. Nothing appeared to be removed from the premises.

INDECENT EXPOSURE 3/11/2003, 1300 blk S. Walter Reed Dr., At approximately 0745hrs, the victim, a 39yo female, was walking north when an unknown male subject in a vehicle got her attention by honking the horn. When the victim looked toward the subject, she observed that he was exposing his genitals. The suspect is described as a WM, brown hair, wearing a brown jacket and flannel shirt. The vehicle is described as a white Volvo sedan.

ROBBERY 3/10/2003, 5200 blk S. 8th Rd., At 2210hrs, the victim, a 39yo female, was walking home when she was approached from behind by two unknown male subjects. The subjects grabbed the victim's purse from her shoulder and ran south on S. Greenbrier St. Both suspects are described as wearing dark-colored jackets and jeans.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/9/2003, 4400 N. Lee Hwy., At 0724hrs, the victim, a 49yo female, was at home when she heard someone opening a window to her residence. She immediately called police. The subject did not gain entry and fled the scene before police arrived. The subject was wearing a watch cap.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 3/9/2003, 4100 S. Four Mile Run Dr., At 0300hrs, the victim, a 27yo male, was leaving a friend’s house when he was hit on the head with a beer bottle. Nothing was taken from the victim, but he believes that someone tried to rob him. The victim could not provide a description of his assailant.

ROBBERY 3/8/2003, 600 N. Glebe Rd., At 1948 hrs, the victim, a 17yo male, was walking in the stairwell of a parking garage when he was confronted by four unknown subjects. One of the subjects suddenly grabbed the victim and demanded money. The other subjects then searched the victim’s pockets and stole an undetermined amount of cash from the wallet. All four subjects then fled the scene on foot. Upon arriving on the scene, officers stopped three subjects matching the victim’s description of the suspects. After further investigation, the subjects were positively identified. Abera Girma, 19, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with robbery. The other subjects are not being identified because they are juveniles.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/7/2003, 1400 S. Rolfe St., Sometime between 1500hrs and 1800hrs on 03/06/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an apartment through a front door. The victim, a 77yo female, returned home to find her front door ajar. She was certain she had locked the front door. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing appeared to be missing.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 3/7/2003, 1500 blk S. George Mason Dr., Sometime between 2330hrs on 03/04/03 and 0015hrs on 03/07/03, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several pieces of jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 3/6/2003, 5100 blk N. Lee Hwy., Sometime between 2230hrs on 03/05/03 and 1800hrs on 03/06/03, unknown subject(s) entered a restaurant and removed several items including stereo and construction equipment. Entry was apparently made through a rear door.

ROBBERY 3/6/2003, 4600 blk S. King St., At approximately 0130hrs, the victim, a 26yo male, was approached by two unknown male subjects while he was waiting to use a pay phone. Subject #1 reached into the victim's pockets and removed an undetermined amount of money. The victim began struggling with both subjects. Subject #1 then implied he had a weapon and both subjects fled the scene. Subject #1 is described as a BM, 18-19yo, approx. 5'8", 150lbs, ponytail, wearing a dark green jacket w/ white stripes, dark jeans and boots. Subject #2 is described as a BM, 18-19yo, approx. 5'10", 180lbs, wearing a dark cap, dark jacket, dark jeans and dark shoes.

ROBBERY 3/1/2003, 1900 N. Fairfax Dr., At 2000hrs, the victim, a 50yo male, was robbed by a subject who had been living with him. The subject entered the victim’s room and requested twenty dollars. When the victim pulled out his money, the subject demanded all of it, but the victim refused to comply. The subject punched the victim in the face and grabbed the money. The victim ran from the house, and upon his return, the subject was gone. The subject, known only as James, was described as a BM, 38yo, 5’10”, 175-185lbs, wearing a black nylon jacket and dark clothing.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 2/28/2003, 5100 Lee Hwy., Sometime between 2215hrs on 02/27/03 and 1115hrs on 02/28/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a store through a window and stole a fax machine, 3000 phone cards, 2 cordless phones, 2 convectors, 2 weight machines, a 14” TV, an undetermined amount of cash, an assortment of groceries and approximately 400 CD’s.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 2/28/2003, 2100 Washington Blvd., Sometime between 1700hrs on 02/27/03 and 0800hrs on 02/28/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an office and stole a laptop computer. There were no signs of forced entry.

ROBBERY 2/27/2003, ,4300 N. Carlin Springs Rd., At 2100hrs, the victim, a 61yo female, was standing in a parking lot when an unknown subject approached her from behind and grabbed her purse. The subject then fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a WHM, 5’11”, 185lbs wearing a dark winter coat and dark pants.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 2/26/2003, 1900 Fort Meyer Dr., Sometime between 1745hrs on 02/25/03 and 0700hrs on 02/26/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an office suite and stole a 32” TV. There were no signs of forced entry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/26/2003, 3900 N. 17th St., Sometime between 1809hrs on 02/26/03 and 2030hrs on 02/26/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a residence through a window and stole a Sony Playstation and electronic equipment.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/25/2003, 1700 Clarendon Blvd., Sometime between 02/24/03 and 02/25/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a residence through a front door and stole a Toshiba laptop computer and a Mintek portable DVD player.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 2/25/2003, 4400 N. Pershing Dr., Sometime between 1630hrs on 02/24/03 and 0915hrs on 02/25/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into an apartment through a window and turned on the shower causing water damage. Nothing was stolen.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/24/2003, 1700 blk N. Clarendon Blvd., Sometime between 1200hrs and 2340hrs on 02/23/03, an unknown subject(s) forced open the victim’s door and removed a laptop computer.

ROBBERY 2/23/2003, 2100 blk S. Jefferson Davis Hwy., At approximately 1730hrs, the victim, a 40yo female retail clerk was approached by an unknown male subject. The subject implied a weapon and demanded money. The subject then forced the victim to the floor and kicked her several times before fleeing the store with an undetermined amount of money. The suspect is described as a BM, 5’9”, 180lbs, wearing a blue peacoat, dark pants and shoes, gloves and a black ski mask.

ATTMEPTED ROBBERY 2/21/2003, 5800 blk N. Washington Blvd., At approximately 1654hrs, the victim, a 46yo female, was walking on the sidewalk when she was approached from behind by an unknown male subject. The subject knocked the victim to the ground and unsuccessfully attempted to snatch her purse. The subject fled west on Washington Blvd. when the victim screamed. The suspect is described as a WM, 20s, 5’6”, 170-200lbs, wearing a gray wool cap, blue jeans, and a black jacket with red lettering on back.

ROBBERY 2/20/2003, 1900 N. 15th St., At 0600hrs, the victim, a 39yo female, was walking along the street when she was approached from behind by two unknown subjects. Subject #1 grabbed her purse, and Subject #2 pushed her to the ground. The subjects fled the scene on foot with the victim’s purse. Both subjects were described as WHM’s.

ROBBERY 2/20/2003, 1400 N. Lee Hwy., At 2330hrs, the victim, a 24yo male, was walking home when he was approached by an unknown number of subjects. The victim was knocked to the ground, kicked, and his wallet was stolen from his back pocket.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 2/19/2003, 1900 N. Lynn St., Sometime between 1440hrs and 1700hrs on 02/19/03, an unknown person(s) forced entry through a front door into a business. Nothing appeared missing.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/19/2003, 3000 S. 17th St., Sometime between 1700hrs on 02/15/03 and 0630hrs on 02/19/03, an unknown person(s) entered a residence and stole two portable heaters and various tools. There were no signs of forced entry.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 2/19/2003, 1200 S. Eads St., Sometime between 1700hrs on 02/15/03 and 1000hrs on 02/19/03, an unknown subject(s) entered a business and stole an undetermined amount of cash from a safe. There were no signs of forced entry.

EXPOSURE 2/18/2003, 2800 S. Meade St., At 1336hrs, the victim, a 48yo female, was in front of her residence when an unknown subject walked by and exposed his genitalia. Officers observed a subject in the area that matched the description provided by the victim. After further investigation, officers arrested Efrain Gonzalos Martinez, 33, Alexandria. He was charged with indecent exposure.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 2/18/2003, 4300 N. Fairfax Dr., Sometime between 1400hrs on 02/17/03 and 1230hrs on 02/18/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an office and stole three laptop computers. There were no signs of forced entry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/16/2003, 3100 S. 17th St., Sometime between 2100hrs on 02/15/03 and 1130hrs on 02/16/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a residence by breaking the lock on a basement door. Nothing appeared to be missing from the residence.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/15/2003, 1000 S. Jefferson St., At 2235hrs, police officers responded for the report of a disturbance in an apartment building. Upon arrival, officers observed two subjects in the hallway. After further investigation, the officers determined that the subjects had forced entry into an apartment. Fredis Villatoro, 19, of Arlington, and Wilfredo Armella, 22, of Arlington, were both arrested and charged with burglary.

ROBBERY 2/15/2003, 5000 S. 9th St., At 0115hrs, the victim, a 30yo female, was exiting her vehicle when an unknown subject approached her and engaged her in conversation. The victim started to walk away when the subject grabbed her, hit her and grabbed her purse. The subject then fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a BM, 25-30yo, 5’4”, 140lbs, wearing a black knit cap and a black ski jacket.

ROBBERY 2/15/2003, 1900 S. Walter Reed Dr., At 0032hrs, the victim, a 28yo female, was walking home when an unknown subject ran up to her, pushed her to the ground and grabbed her purse. The subject then fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a WHM, 7’7”-5’8”, 140-150lbs, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a baseball hat.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 2/12/2003, 1900 N. Lynn St., Sometime between 1830hrs on 02/11/03 and 0600hrs on 02/12/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a business by prying open a door. Items stolen included a digital light projector, head sets and a CD player.

ARMED ROBBERY 2/11/2003, 700 N. Wayne St., At 1200hrs, the victim, a 21yo female, was entering an apartment building when an unknown subject stabbed her in the abdomen and stole her purse. The subject then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for her injuries. The subject was described as a WHM, 5’8”-6’1”, wearing a knit cap, dark coat and gloves.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/11/2003, 3100 S. Hayes St., Sometime between 0845hrs and 1900hrs on 02/11/03, an unknown subject(s) attempted to force entry into a residence by breaking a back door window.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 2/11/2003, 300 N. Thomas St., At 2149hrs, the victims, a 23yo male and a 17yo male, went outside their apartment to assist other friends who were being threatened by two unknown subjects. One of the subjects was wielding a knife. Subject #1 then stabbed the victims when they came outside. The victims were transported to a local hospital. Subject #1 was described as a BHM, 26-27yo, 5’3”, 180lbs, wearing a black knit cap, a black shirt and blue pants tucked into black tennis shoes. He had 4-5 days beard growth. Subject #2 was described as a WHM, 20-21yo, 5’5”, 150lbs, with medium length black hair, wearing baggy black pants and a black or blue shirt with white stripes.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/9/2003, 2300 S. June St., Sometime between 2045hrs and 2220hrs on 02/09/03, an unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole a laptop computer. There were no signs of forced entry.

ROBBERY 2/9/2003, 200 N. Fillmore St., At 1704hrs, the victim, a 78yo female, had just pulled into her driveway and was walking inside when an unknown subject asked for directions. The subject then grabbed the victim’s fanny pack from her shoulder and ran to his vehicle. The subject north on N. Fillmore St. The subject was described as a WM, 50’s, 5’8”-5’10”, 170-190lbs, wearing a tan jacket. The suspect vehicle was described as white Honda 4dr.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/7/2003, 200 N. Thomas St., At 2329hrs, an unknown subject attempted to enter an apartment through an open window. The resident yelled that she was calling the police and the subject fled scene. The subject was described as a BM, 30’s, 6’0”, 180-200lbs wearing a black stocking hat and a brown jacket.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 2/7/2003, 4700 N. Washington Blvd., Sometime between 2245hrs on 02/06/03 and 0615hrs on 02/07/03, an unknown subject(s) attempted to force entry into a garage by breaking out a window.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY 2/6/2003, 2300 Jeff Davis Hwy., At 2300hrs, the victim, a 27yo store clerk, was working in a store when an unknown subject came in and demanded money from the register. The victim advised the subject that she did not have any money and the subject fled the scene on foot. The subject was described as a BM, 30’s, 6’1”, 220lbs, brown eyes, black hair wearing blue jeans and a jacket.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, 1/30/2003, 5900 N. Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 1650hrs on 01/29/03 and 1500hrs on 01/30/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an apartment and stole miscellaneous costume jewelry and an undetermined amount of cash. There were no signs forced entry.

GRAND LARCENY 2/4/2003, 800 S. 20th St., At 0645hrs, officers responded for the report of a refrigeration truck that was stolen by an unknown subject. The subject struck several vehicles as it fled the scene. When officers located the truck they attempted to stop it, but the subject attempted to elude them. The subject crashed the truck and attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. ARMED ROBBERY 1/24/2003, 1400 S. Joyce St., At 1700hrs, the victim, a 19yo female, was entering her apartment when an unknown subject rushed toward her. The victim was able to enter her apartment and lock the door before the subject reached her. The subject then tried the door handle and kicked the door. Shortly thereafter, on another floor of the building, a second victim, a 44yo female, was talking with a neighbor outside of her apartment when the subject approached and demanded the victim’s purse. After a brief struggle, the subject was able to get the purse. The subject fled in the stairwell. The subject was described as a BM, 20-25yo, 5’7”-5’9”, thin with short hair wearing black baggy pants and black jacket with red trim.

ARMED ROBBERY 1/16/2003, 1700 N. Culpepper St., At approximately 0305hrs, the victim, a 23yo male, was walking down the street when he approached an unknown subject to ask for directions. The subject then produced a knife and demanded the victim’s money. The victim complied and gave the subject an undetermined amount of money. The subject then fled north on N. Culpepper St. The subject was described as a BM, 20’s, 5’8”-5’9”, wearing a black puffy winter coat, a gray sweatshirt with a hood, and dark pants.

The subjects knocked the victim from his bicycle, and then one of the subjects produced a handgun and demanded money. The victim then gave the subjects his wallet. After being kicked in the head, the victim then got up and ran away. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 6’0”, 200lbs, dark blue baseball hat, white shirt, blue jeans and Timberland boots. She ordered the subject out of the house, ran to her mother’s room and called police. The subject fled prior to officers arriving on the scene. The subject entered through an unlocked window. The subject was described as a BM, 22yo, 5’6”, 170lbs, wearing a black ski cap, a black jacket, black pants, and tan boots.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 1/7/2003, 5000 S. 25th St., At 0301hrs on 12/27/02, officers responded to an alarm at a residence. The officers determined that the residence appeared secure. When the resident returned home on 01/04/02, she observed blood droplets in the house. She advised that she recently had a new door installed and that the contractor may still have a key. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was stolen.

BURGLARY 1/4/2003, 1200 S. Hayes St., On 01/04/03, at 1455hrs, Officers responded to a hotel for a report of a possible burglary. Upon arrival, hotel personnel advised that they found a subject sleeping in a room who was not registered and not authorized to be in the room. Officers arrested the subject after further investigation. Labrouzi Achraf, 24, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny.

The victim refused to buy drugs and the three subjects began to kick and punch the victim. Subject #1 was described as a WM, 17yo, 6’0”, 140lbs, brown eyes and brown hair wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray shirt and a black hat. Subject #3 was unknown to the victim and was described as a WM, 17yo, 6’1”, 180lbs, black hair, wearing a black sweater.

Subject #1 then ordered the victim to remove money from a safety box. The victim complied, and the subjects fled the store. Both subjects were described as a BMs, 20-30yo, 6’0”, with medium complexions. Subject #1 was wearing a cream color jacket with a hood. Subject #2 was wearing a black jacket with hood.
