ARMED ROBBERY 1/13/2003, 1300 N. Courthouse Rd., At 2110hrs, the victim, a 62yo male, invited an acquaintance to his apartment. After arriving at the victim’s apartment, the subject produced a handgun and tied the victim’s hands and feet together. The subject then took the victim’s wallet and fled the scene. The subject was described as a BHM, 38yo, 5’10”, 200lbs, brown eyes, black hair, with a dark complexion. The subject stated his name was “John,” and he was wearing a black cap, black pants, and a black and green plaid jacket.
ARMED ROBBERY 1/13/2003, 4400 N. 4th Rd., At 0015hrs, the victims, a 27yo male and 38yo male, were walking along N. 4th Rd. when a dark SUV stopped next to them. The front seat passenger got out, produced a handgun and demanded that they get into the SUV. Both victims refused to get into the vehicle, but both victims gave the subject an undetermined amount of cash. The subject then returned to the vehicle, which fled toward N. Henderson Rd. The subject was described as a WHM, thin build, 20-25yo, 5’06”, short black hair, wearing a dark football style jersey and dark pants. The driver of the vehicle was described as a WHM, early 20’s, wearing a white shirt.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 1/12/2003, 2400 N. Lincoln St., Sometime between 1400hrs on 01/11/03 and 1130hrs on 01/12/03, an unknown subject(s) entered a garage at a resident and stole Home Depot gift cards from an unlocked vehicle.
ARMED ROBBERY 1/12/2003, 1400 S. 28th St., At 0150hrs, the victim, a 28yo male, was walking toward his apartment when two unknown subjects confronted him. Subject #1 asked the victim for a cigarette, and Subject #2 walked behind the victim and placed a handgun against his back. Subject #2 then took an undetermined amount of cash from the victim’s wallet. Both subjects fled on foot in an unknown direction. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 6’0”, 175lbs, brown eyes and black hair, wearing a brown shirt and black pants. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 6’0”, 175lbs, brown eyes and black hair, wearing a black cap and white sneakers.
ARMED ROBBERY 1/12/2003, 500 N. Thomas St., At 2308hrs, the victim, a 31yo male, was walking on a sidewalk when he was approached by two unknown subjects. Subject #1 produced a handgun, demanded the victim’s money, and removed an undetermined amount of cash from the victim’s pocket. The subjects then got into a vehicle and fled south on S. Carlin Springs Rd. Subject #1 was described as a WHM, thin build, 5’06”, 20yo, short black hair with sideburns and a thin mustache, wearing a gold or silver necklace. Subject #2 was described as a WHM, thin build, 25yo, 5’06”, black medium length curly hair, wearing a dark nylon jacket. The suspect vehicle was described as a black Isuzu Rodeo.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 1/11/2003, 4100 S. Four Mile Run Dr., Sometime between 1600hrs and 1930hrs on 01/10/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an apartment through and open side window and stole a pair of jeans, two pairs of basketball shoes, approximately 30 rap and hip-hop CD’s, and pair of rabbit cuff links.
ARMED ROBBERY 1/10/2003, 1600 S. Oakland St., At 0015hrs, the victim, a 31yo male, was riding on a bicycle when two unknown subjects exited a parked vehicle and charged him. The subjects knocked the victim from his bicycle, and then one of the subjects produced a handgun and demanded money. The victim then gave the subjects his wallet. After being kicked in the head, the victim then got up and ran away. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 6’0”, 200lbs, dark blue baseball hat, white shirt, blue jeans and Timberland boots. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 6’0”, 200lbs, no facial hair, wearing a black shirt, black jeans and Timberland boots.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 1/8/2003, 1555 Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 2330hrs on 01/07/03 and 0700hrs on 01/08/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an office suite through a rear fire door and stole two laptop computers and two computer docking stations. There were no signs of forced entry.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 1/8/2003, 1000 S. Emerson St., At 0144hrs, the victim, a 17yo female, woke up to find an acquaintance in her room. She ordered the subject out of the house, ran to her mother’s room and called police. The subject fled prior to officers arriving on the scene. The subject entered through an unlocked window. The subject was described as a BM, 22yo, 5’6”, 170lbs, wearing a black ski cap, a black jacket, black pants, and tan boots.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 1/7/2003, 5600 N. 7th St., Sometime between 1330hrs and 2000hrs on 01/07/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry through a glass door into a residence and stole an undetermined amount of foreign and domestic currency, a cigar lighter and cutter, and a bottle of Ritalin.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 1/7/2003, 5000 S. 25th St., At 0301hrs on 12/27/02, officers responded to an alarm at a residence. The officers determined that the residence appeared secure. When the resident returned home on 01/04/02, she observed blood droplets in the house. She advised that she recently had a new door installed and that the contractor may still have a key. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was stolen.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 1/6/2003, 3000 N. Washington Blvd., Sometime between 1430hrs on 01/04/03 and 0615hrs on 01/06/02, an unknown subject(s) forced entry through a chain link fence into a construction site and stole a fork from a fork lift.
BURGLARY 1/4/2003, 1200 S. Hayes St., On 01/04/03, at 1455hrs, Officers responded to a hotel for a report of a possible burglary. Upon arrival, hotel personnel advised that they found a subject sleeping in a room who was not registered and not authorized to be in the room. Officers arrested the subject after further investigation. Labrouzi Achraf, 24, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny.

ROBBERY 1/3/2003, 1300 S. 28th St., At 0630hrs, the victim, a 21yo male, was walking to a bus stop when he was approached from behind by two unknown subjects. Subject #1 grabbed the victim from behind and restrained the victim, and Subject #2 removed an undetermined amount of cash from the victim’s wallet. Subject #1 was described as a WHM, 5’10”, black hair, wearing a wool cap and a blue jacket. Subject #2 was described as a WHM, 5’8”, black hair, no facial hair, wearing a dark jacket.
ARMED ROBBERY 1/3/2003, 5300 N. Lee Hwy, At 1103hrs, the victim, a 30yo bank teller, was working in a bank when an unknown subject approached her counter. The subject began pounding on the counter with a hammer and demanding money. The victim complied and gave the subject an undetermined amount of cash. The subject fled onto N. Harrison St. The subject was described as a BM, 6’0”, 190lbs wearing an orange construction type hooded jacket. He also had a fake mustache and beard and was carrying a green bag.

ARMED ROBBERY 1/3/2003, 2900 S. Columbia Pike, 12/24/02, , At 1559hrs, the victim, a 50yo store owner, was alone in her store when an unknown subject wearing a ski mask entered. The subject displayed a knife and then took an undetermined amount of cash from the register. The subject was described as a WM, 20’s, wearing a ¾ length “parker” jacket, tan pants, and a black ski mask.
ROBBERY, 1/3/2003, 5700 N. 27th Rd., 12/30/02, At 2010hrs, the victim, a 17yo male, went to meet with a known subject to buy drugs. Upon his arrival, three subjects were waiting for the victim. The victim refused to buy drugs and the three subjects began to kick and punch the victim. The subjects then stole a coat, a sweater, a pair of glasses and an undetermined amount of cash from the victim. Subject #1 was described as a WM, 17yo, 6’0”, 140lbs, brown eyes and brown hair wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray shirt and a black hat. Subject #2 was described as a WM, 17yo, 5’6”, 130lbs with black hair and a dark complexion, wearing a dark knit hat and black track pants. Subject #3 was unknown to the victim and was described as a WM, 17yo, 6’1”, 180lbs, black hair, wearing a black sweater.

Kent St., Sometime between 1600hrs on 12/31/02 and 0800hrs on 01/02/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an office through a rear door and stole 2 laptop computers, a digital camera, a 35mm camera, and an undetermined amount of cash. There were no signs of forced entry.
ARMED ROBBERY 1/2/2003, 800 N. Randolph St., At 1758hrs, the victim, a 63yo store owner, was working in his store when two unknown subjects entered. Subject #1 produced a handgun and then both subjects ordered the victim to open the cash register. Subject #2 removed an undetermined amount of cash from the register. Subject #1 then ordered the victim to remove money from a safety box. The victim complied, and the subjects fled the store. The subjects may have fled in a vehicle described as an older model white or beige American car with unknown state tag numbers 2986106. Both subjects were described as a BMs, 20-30yo, 6’0”, with medium complexions. Subject #1 was wearing a cream color jacket with a hood. Subject #2 was wearing a black jacket with hood.
