WANTED FOR BANK ROBBERY

ARLINGTON, Va.—June 30, 2003—The Arlington County Police Department is currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27 at the First Union Bank located at 1300 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington.  A lone male suspect, pictured at right, approached the teller and produced a demand note advising of the robbery.  The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash, and the suspect then exited the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40-50, slim build, approximately 5’10”-6’0”, gray hair, wearing a dark baseball cap with a red logo, dark sunglasses, blue jeans and a light colored shirt.

Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of this suspect.  Callers to Crime Solvers remain anonymous and do not need to testify in court.
