WANTED FOR ROBBERY ARLINGTON, Va. - February 27, 2003 -The Arlington County Police Department is looking for the subject who robbed a store in the Crystal City area. On February 23, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the victim, a store employee, was in the process of closing the Rite-Aid in the Crystal City Plaza Shops when she was confronted by an unknown subject. The subject, who possibly had been hiding in the store, stated that he had a gun and that he would shoot the victim if she did not give him money. The subject assaulted the victim and then grabbed the money. The subject fled the scene in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a black male, 5'6" - 5'7", 175 pounds, wearing a dark navy pea coat with no shirt underneath, dark pants and a dark ski mask. The subject spoke with a Jamaican accent. Arlington County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of this suspect.
